The West Richland Citizen’s Group (WRCG) is a group of concerned West Richland citizens interested in working together for the overall betterment of the West Richland community, through engagement in West Richland City, Benton County, and Washington State issues.

WRCG will be made up of any person or organization that is willing to actively work toward the betterment of our community.  Our goal is to help make West Richland the best family-oriented community it can be. 

WRCG will accomplish this goal by doing the following:

• Providing a clearing house for resident concerns:   By pairing residents who have an issue or concern with other residents that have faced similar situations, WRCG hopes to make residents aware of other circumstances that may be surrounding an issue, and of preferred paths to resolution.  We will help citizens to advocate for themselves and find fair and honest paths to issue resolution. 

• Providing independent oversight and support:  We will hold our elected officials and staff accountable to the citizens of WR.  We will accomplish this by attending and actively participating in WR City Council meetings, WR Park Board meetings, WR Planning Commission meetings, etc.  As appropriate, we will attend and actively participate in Richland School Board meetings, Benton County Commissioner meetings, WA State meeting, etc. regarding issues that impact West Richland.

• Providing leadership and engagement:  We will support and attend community activities and events as decided by WRCG.

All funds collected by donations to WRCG will be fully accounted for and spent in support of activities to help make West Richland the best family-oriented community it can be.
