The heartbreaking effects of marijuana have touched yet another life, as told in this video of a mother her lost her son due to marijuana use.
As a community, we do not want this- or anything close to this- happening to anyone. We want to keep our community safe, family friendly, and as drug free as possible. Just ONE life of a West Richland community member being negatively impacted by a purchase of marijuana at the proposed shop- is NOT worth having the shop. No tax benefits, no amount of money the city could gain is worth a life destroyed.
Marijuana contains a significantly higher dosage of THC than ever before- which makes stories like this one repeat itself. Sam was a just a young teen when he first got caught smoking marijuana. If cannabis sales are allowed in West Richland- the chances of any one of this community's young children doing the same are greatly increased.
